Good to know before applying
Working in Amsterdam's district care requires navigating the city efficiently, making a reliable bicycle indispensable for traveling between clients. Cordaan's flexible shift scheduling via the Nedap ONS app is highly compatible with demanding medical or nursing study schedules at VU Amsterdam or the University of Amsterdam. Students can easily plan their 3 to 5-hour shifts around lectures and clinical rotations. However, because direct patient communication and medical reporting are central to this role, applicants must carefully review the Dutch language proficiency requirements specified in the original vacancy to ensure they can safely and effectively support local clients.
