Engineering Workflow Automation Intern (HBO) Amsterdam

From September, we offer an HBO internship in Engineering Workflow Automation. You will analyze and automate repetitive processes, develop smart solutions, and help engineers work more efficiently. A challenging working or graduation internship with a direct impact on superyacht construction.

Your contribution to building a Feadship

How do you ensure that engineers spend less time on manual and repetitive work? That is exactly the question you will tackle during this internship. Within Royal Van Lent Shipyard, you will get the opportunity to closely examine processes and devise smart improvements. You will speak with engineers from various disciplines. You will discover where opportunities lie and develop practical solutions that make their work easier and more efficient. Think of dashboards, templates, Excel tools, or other forms of simple automation. This way, you help colleagues spend more time on where they truly add value. That is innovation, engineering, and building the most beautiful superyachts in the world.

What you will do during your internship:

• Map out work processes and recurring bottlenecks within Engineering.
• Engage with users to discover opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze processes and administrative tasks.
• Develop and test practical automation solutions.
• Work on dashboards, templates, reports, and workflow improvements.
• Investigate the feasibility and impact of new ideas.
• Measure results and present your findings to colleagues and management.
• Propose improvement initiatives for the future of Engineering.

You will work on concrete solutions that quickly add value—smart improvements that are immediately noticeable on the work floor.
