Holiday Work: Recycling Site Assistant

What will you do?

Do you know how to get things done and are you not afraid to get dirty? We are immediately looking for a recycling site assistant in Amsterdam! As a recycling site assistant, you will work at a large recycling depot in Amsterdam. Construction and commercial waste, among other things, is processed on this site. Trucks come and go throughout the day. As a recycling site assistant, your task is to keep the business grounds tidy.

Activities:

• Maintaining and keeping the site tidy;
• Various manual tasks such as dismantling, painting, and demolition;
• Moving containers.

The position of recycling site assistant is a full-time holiday job. The working days are from Monday to Friday and the working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00. If everything goes to mutual satisfaction and you are looking for a job for a longer period, there is a possibility that you can work for a longer period.

What do we ask?

• You are a go-getter and not afraid to get dirty;
• You do not mind working outdoors all day (even in the rain);
• You have an affinity with recycling (preferred);
• You have a good command of the Dutch language;
• You have a VCA certificate (or are open to obtaining one).

What do we offer?

• A salary between €3000 - €3200 per month;
• Travel allowance in accordance with the collective labor agreement (CAO);
• Pension accrual from the first working day;
• A training budget up to €2500.

Where will you work?

You will work at a large recycling company that deals with all facets of waste processing. They are active nationwide with branches throughout the country. In Amsterdam, they are looking for extra reinforcement for this holiday period. If everything goes to mutual satisfaction and you are looking for a job for a longer period, there is a possibility that you can work for a longer period.
