Your availability:

Your schedule is flexible and will be coordinated in consultation with the manager. We are looking for colleagues for various shifts. At the earliest, you start at 05:30 and you work until 00:00 at the latest. Your shift lasts a maximum of 8 hours.

We are looking for new colleagues as of August 1st. From November, we will be opening a brand-new store at Amsterdam-Zuid station. This is a unique opportunity to help build and be part of something new from the very beginning. You want to be part of that, right? Before that time, you will be partly trained at an AH to go at another location in Amsterdam, so that you can start working in the new store with full confidence. Due to the duties, it is important that you are at least 18 years old.

What will you do?

At AH to go at Amsterdam Zuid station, there is always something to do: travelers are in a hurry, but still want to be helped quickly and well. That is why we are looking for employees who know how to tackle things and enjoy making customers happy.

  • You help customers quickly on their way with a freshly prepared sandwich. Out of croissants? You bake them!
  • You restock the shelves and ensure the store looks tip-top. From unloading the cargo to facing the products: you ensure everything is in order
  • You are a team player who, together with colleagues, ensures that travelers can do their shopping quickly and pleasantly

Dutch at level B1 is required for this position. Not there yet?

  • Are you 21 years or older? Then you earn € 14.99 gross per hour excluding any surcharges.
  • Are you younger than 21? Then the youth wage according to the CAO VGL applies
  • The opportunity to get a permanent contract after 7 months

Good to know before applying

Amsterdam Zuid is a major business and student hub, located very close to the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). This makes it incredibly convenient to combine your shifts with your study schedule. However, because shifts can start as early as 05:30 or end at 00:00, you must be able to commute to the station within 30 minutes without relying on public transport. Be sure to check your travel options before applying. Additionally, please note that a B1 level of Dutch is strictly required for this customer-facing role, so verify your language skills meet this standard.
